Perimeter Solutions won a competitive tender for the design, supply and install of a self-supporting weighted hoarding system for McLaren construction along the busy Euston Road in London.

Full structural, wind and pedestrian loadings were taken into consideration, as well as methods of installation on an extremely busy live pavement and busy traffic movement. A system was designed that could be quickly assembled with a minimum of mess and without disruption to the public.

Concrete hoarding blocks with pre-tested lifting eyes were utilised and installed during a night shift, with PSL carefully managing pedestrian access around the site to ensure constant separation and safety of both our operatives and the public. This continued for the entire installation process.

The client was very happy with the result, commending us on our safe working practices and the ‘zero to landfill’ credentials of our system.
In addition to the hoarding, PSL also supplied and installed road barriers and red & white bulk timbers.
