Travis Perkins, Balham

The new Travis Perkins depot at Balham presented Perimeter Solutions with a great opportunity to demonstrate the wide range of services we offer.

Palisade fencing at 2.4 and 3m heights forms the side perimeter, with Palisade infills between brick piers forming the front elevation. A compound to the rear of the facility is formed with bolt-down 3m high powdercoated Palisade with a large single gate.

Armco barrier has been installed around the building to protect it from vehicle strikes. The inclusion of bright yellow end caps works brilliantly with the yellow and green colour scheme of the building.

To the front is a complex 10m wide 2.7m high bi-folding gate, weighing almost 2 tonnes. The bi-folding gate was selected in order to avoid a sharp gradient to the rear of the entrance. PSL worked closely with our client’s engineer to ensure concrete pads for the bolt-down fixing for this gate were accurate – resulting in a quick and clean install.
