Battery Energy Storage Schemes

In 2025, Perimeter Solutions installed the fencing on 4 different BESS schemes up and down the country, helping secure the UKs power infrastructure.

These schemes tend to involve high security fencing, such as palisade mounted in anti-dig concrete cills, anti-climb 358 weldmesh and acoustic fencing.

Some of the safety features required of these installs include fitting insulators on each palisade bay to prevent electricity arcing between panels should an electrical fault occur. Also, the acoustic fencing on some sites was pre-treated with fire retardant compounds, which we had undertaken offsite with certifications of compliance issued.
