The Fred Nicholson Special School, Swaffham

Works are now complete in Swaffham, a significant expansion and relocation of the Fred Nicholson Special School from Dereham to a new, purpose-built facility on Lynn Road, Norfolk, creating more places for SEN (Special Educational Needs) students.

For our valued client RG Carter, Perimeter Solutions successfully bid for the fencing and gate package, a significant sized project incorporating over 1,400 metres of various fence types and 25 gates.

In keeping with DfE guidelines, the perimeter consists of anti-climb 358 weldmesh, there is a rebound weldmesh MUGA, timber infill privacy mesh and plenty of knee rail to protect soft planting areas from trampling.

Many of the gates had access control fitted by Perimeter Automation, including full automatic openers on the main gates.
